समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव ने बताया कि 'पीडीए'  लोगों के शोषण और उत्पीड़न के खिलाफ साझा चेतना और भावना से पैदा हुई एकता का नाम है जो "पिछड़े", दलित और "अल्पसंख्यक" हैं। 

 "पीडीए मूल रूप से 'पिछड़े, दलित और अल्पसंख्यक' के शोषण, उत्पीड़न और उपेक्षा के खिलाफ चेतना और आम भावना से पैदा हुई एकता का नाम है।"

PDA Pathshala 

Kannauj, July 25 (UNI) Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav today announced that if the Uttar Pradesh government closes the primary schools in the name of merger, then his party workers will go to villages and run PDA Pathshala. 

Reacting to the High Court's order on the merger of primary schools in the state, the SP president thanked the judiciary for halting the government's move in Sitapur district. 

He said good schools will be built when the Samajwadi government is formed in the state. 

Akhilesh Yadav, who reached Kannauj during the day, first went to the house of party leader Rajesh and expressed condolences and thereafter he addressed the media. 

The SP president said that the most important thing for development is education but the people of BJP are doing the work of attacking that education and that too the basic education. 

He said, "In the last election, we used to say that the Constitution was in danger. The Right to Education is a law under the Constitution in which everyone has the right to his education. " 

He wondered if the institutions remain closed, then where will the children of poor families, PDA society, go to study. 

"We will ask the SP leaders to form a team of educated party workers in every village and will ask all those retired teachers to make PDA Pathshala and educate those children. We will not let the education of children stop. We socialists will run PDA Pathshala and ensure that the children complete their education," he announced.
